Wake The World Lane County - 2018 from Daniel Hespen on Vimeo. Wake the World Lane County's mission is to give foster kids and families an unforgettable day on the lake. In 2017 there were close to 8,000 children in foster care in Oregon. Many of these children live in foster homes with multiple foster children, and while DHS and foster parents are doing the best they can, sometimes they just need a break. Active Water Sports and our customers always love getting involved in these Wake the World events any way possible. We basically shut the store down for the day and roll the whole crew out.
