Last weekend, Active Water Sports and Yacht Harbor Club brought professional double up wakeboarding back to the Pacific Northwest with the inaugural contest, HANGTIME. Beach-goers and boaters gathered at the Columbia River to witness eight of the best wakeboarders throw down and compete for the top prize. Steel Lafferty took the top podium spot, with Guenther Oka close behind in second, Bob Soven in third and Shawn Watson rounding it out in fourth.
Big prizes were given away, including gear from AWS and Rockstar, a Liquid Force Keen, a Slingshot inflatable SUP and six (toy) Super Air Nautique G23s. River Pig Saloon provided the food with a roasted pig and Elysian Brewing provided the beer.
