The Portland Boat Show is here! This Wednesday through Sunday, to be exact. And joining us Friday and Saturday is a staple in the wakeboard industry — Erik Ruck.
Erik has a steady list of accomplishments in his career, including a bronze medal from the 2001 X Games, becoming the Wakeboard World Champion in 2002, winning the X Games Rail Jam in 2006 and taking the title of Trick of the Year in 2011 (as seen below).
Aside from his talent, Erik is known as Ronix's team captain. He has a contagious positive energy no matter who he is around and is always encouraging others that are pushing the sport. Last year, during the Seattle Boat Show, we got the chance to get to know Erik a little bit better. Check out our video of it below.
