WETSUIT CARE GUIDE: THE BASICS

With wetsuit use, comes proper wetsuit care! Here are a few basic steps to follow in order to keep your suit fresh this season!

Care varies by personal preference but here's the basic breakdown:

• Rinse your wetsuit inside out, with freshwater after each use
• Clean with wetsuit shampoo every 3-5 uses for a maximum lifetime
• After rinsing, fold in half at the waist and hang dry out of direct sunlight
• DO NOT store the suit wet or in direct sunlight
• Oil buttons and zippers every few months

RINSING & DRYING YOUR SUIT

When rinsing your suit, be sure to do so in cold water. DO NOT rinse/wash your suit with hot water, hot water temps can negatively affect the fabric durability and flex. When drying your suit, be sure to hang your suit folded at the waist, over a plastic hanger. Be sure the area is well ventilated and out of direct sunlight.
